JOPP CoverWith members from all branches of the social sciences and philosophy, RC36 aims to facilitate power-related research by providing a forum whereby theorists and empirical analysts can converse across the boundaries of their respective disciplines. This trans-disciplinary approach is reflected in the Journal of Political Power (formerly the Journal of Power) which, since its launch in 2008, has been the official journal of RC36 and is now the leading outlet for cutting-edge research on power.

RC36 meets on a regular basis at IPSA World Congresses, APSA Annual Meetings, and its own interim workshops, details of which can be found on the ‘News’ page of this website.
